Ok, its been quite a while since I've drawn anaything. Lack of motivation was killing me. The other week, I got a CD from Andy Salvanos. A few of his songs have inspired me to workon pieces, in which you'll see some soon. Dee Dee, off the album Fragments, was the inspiration for this piece.

Black and white is certainly your friend. Almost amazing is that this is almost all that it is - the incidental greys cause by the scanning aren't very powerful so the contrast remains in focus.
It's sort of hard to wrap my head around the landscape in the distant, like I have to think "so that's a castle, it must be huge, so the hills and mountains around it would be very large indeed. I'd hate to have to walk there.
You also did a good job rendering the direction of the sunlight.
